Creating a blog date icon in photoshop

In this tutorial, I will teach you how to create a trendy icon, to display the date, for your blog.

Now just follow these simple steps and create yourself a nice date icon. Enjoy!
Step 1:
Create a new document 100×100. Fill the background white.

Step 2:
Select the rounded rectangle tool and set the radius to 3px. Set your Foreground color to #3c3c3c, and make a rounded rectangle like I’ve done.

Step 3:
Create a new layer. CTRL+Click the rectangle layer icon. Go to Select>modify>Contract. Contract by 1px.
